Like a G6 by Far East Movement, a hiphop group made up of four Asian Americans (two of them Koreans) went platinum (selling over 1 million) and topped the Billboard's Hottest 100.
Not the Korean's cup of tea, however. His selection of recent rap is Eminem's Space Bound.

I'm also Korean, and I'm disappointed that this is how we get recognized. It is catchy as hell, but these guys can't rap.
ReplyDelete" Like a G6" is actually their only song I like. It's a great song to get you in the dancing spirit..lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe this version will be more your fancy:

"So Bad" is more my taste.
ReplyDeleteAmerica still has the best rappers - probably will for the conceivable future. "Music, movies, and microcode".
@dalucifer0: listen to any "club rap" song. They aren't expected to be super lyrical here.
ReplyDeleteAlso, no mention of the Japanese and Chinese?
like a g6 isn't my favorite FM song. its nice that theyre getting recognition, though.
ReplyDeletealso, the cataracts have done better.
