I read the NY times article! As a Korean-American, I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts. So far, I've read the one about Jin's Korean accent on Lost, and I totally agree with your analysis.
The NYtimes article mentioned that you were studying for the NY Bar exam.. Hope it went well!
As a Korean-American born in the US, I find your articles to be wonderfully written and insightful. Congrats on the NYT article! I do feel a lot of pride that it gives Korean culture a chance to reach a wider audience.
It's hot on the heels of the hideously negative NYT article on circle lenses that I was photographed and interviewed for (and subsequently cut from, with a photo of me giving no credit). Your article in contrast seems to paint a much more flattering portrait of Koreans than the circle lens article did. Thank you for your confidence and humility regarding the subjects you cover!
Amazing, keep it up!

This little bit of exposure should help boost your readership! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCool beans. Couldn't have happened to a worthier anonymous blogger who speaks for an entire ethnicity. :)
