Figure skating is so underrated. Maybe because it's more of an art than sport. I sometimes wish I could be a figure skater or gymnast. I love the sports that show off how graceful the body can be. I hope Yu-Na wins :)
I didn't think sports existed between the Superbowl and March Madness in the U.S. or now that Tiger has taken a vow of chastity and has given up on golf.
Well, there is "The Great American Race" happening this Sunday, and some other girl (Danica Patrick) is garnering more than her fair share of press coverage as she embarks on her NASCAR career.
The Korean is wrong about NBA Basketball. Its season doesn't even begin until June. Until then, they just screw around during the longest pre-season of any sport.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't "prominently featured on today's New York Times" mean on the front page?
ReplyDeleteActually no. It's a video, so it's only available online. But it was the top story on the online version for the entire morning.

I am rooting for her. Her jumps are effortless and she is soooo graceful. She makes it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteJohn, you are forgetting the most beautiful sport of them all (which is the Korean's favorite) -- NBA basketball.
