Being in SoCal, and given the fact that I am totally down with the holy trinity of Korean vices (drinking, gambling, and smoking), I, and my wallet, feel your pain!
Yeah, I feel the same way. Even though I am not a Lakers fan, I really appreciate how Kobe has evolved as a player. But I must admit I was more AGAINST Boston for their yearlong mismanagement (which turned into the "Executive of the Year" award for Danny Ainge as he received gifts from Seattle and Minnesota. Ridiculous) as being FOR the Lakers. Yeah, I'm a hater. ;)
But a finals clincher should be competitive. It was very sad....
The Korean is a Korean American living in Washington D.C. He lived in Seoul until he was 16, then moved to Los Angeles area. The Korean refers to himself in the third person because he thinks it sounds cool.
