Have you ever heard the song "Sah gwa gateun neh ul gool"? There's a second verse that says "Hobak gateun neh ulgool." <BR/><BR/>Hobaks ARE ugly, especially the ones that grow in Korea. The American ones we see here, that are used to carve jack-o-lanterns are gorgeous.<BR/><BR/>The Ggot (flower) part probably signifies the gender (girl).
