I hope he gets the job; he seems like he could do great things with it.CeilingofStarshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05110238349397590911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36405856.post-83724016054278530462012-03-27T21:15:45.300-04:002012-03-27T21:15:45.300-04:00Haha. Especially if he pulled over into a parking lot. Sigh.

Anyways, this is an inspiring video - thanks for sharing TK.TLPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04802204694639692638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36405856.post-70635902978770727852012-03-26T23:51:04.430-04:002012-03-26T23:51:04.430-04:00TK,

I think Dr. Kim's notion of getting a "skill" resonated much deeper than I had ever anticipated, now they tell their friends and colleagues that obtaining a practicle and scalable skill is the most important attribute in the human-capital-driven economy we live in today.

Thank you so much for the video. If, and when, I become a father, I will share this with my children.

MCMiguk chonhnumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07695554200912433082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36405856.post-88871013396439356832012-03-26T23:07:56.644-04:002012-03-26T23:07:56.644-04:00As someone in the field of public health, I can te...As someone in the field of public health, I can tell you that a lot of people in academia, though rarely thrilled about the World Bank at all, are happier to have someone concerned with the human side of development more than just the economic side.kushibohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10306033998028548550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36405856.post-51137039858943884292012-03-26T23:01:03.661-04:002012-03-26T23:01:03.661-04:00Sure, but then there are plenty of countries at a ...Sure, but then there are plenty of countries at a different point in development, where if you or I went there they would be greatly concerned about how much we know and care about them and are willing to interact as equals. Imagine going to Vietnam today and trying the same approach that you'd use in Uganda. I suspect that you'd be secretly reviled (after they'd taken the stuff you brought).jinrokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00155470600628162027noreply@blogger.com
